Inspiro is part of the local community.
The people who access or would like to access our services can tell us a great deal about how to improve the way we support people. One way you can be involved is by joining our consumer register. The consumer register is a list of local people who can offer their opinions and feedback as well as ideas.
Who can be a member of the consumer register?
Anyone who lives, works or studies in the Yarra Ranges. This includes past, present or potential users of Inspiro’s services, plus family members and carers. Interested community members are also welcome. How you participate is up to you. As a consumer register member you decide the role you play.
YOU WILL BE INVITED TO BE INVOLVED IN A RANGE OF ACTIVITIES INCLUDING
- the planning of groups, programs and services
- on a committee
- in a focus group
- giving feedback on our brochures, flyers, etc.
- giving feedback on services you have used at Inspiro
- helping us promote our services.

The Inspiro Journey: Through Consumers’ Eyes
The Inspiro Consumer Journey Project commenced in April 2015. We interviewed nine consumers to hear their stories and get a better understanding of their journey through Inspiro. The aim of the project was to identify barriers and concerns that may exist for our consumers.
We are currently developing an action plan based on recommendations from this project, to create better ways to access our programs and services and to provide care to the community.
