We are thrilled to announce that the Opening Doors Community Leadership Program has expanded to the Outer East and applications are now open!
Inspiro are supporting Opening Doors, a social inclusion project launching in the Outer East of Melbourne (it was previously a successful Inner East initiative).
A community leadership program for social inclusion
The Opening Doors Community Leadership Program for Social Inclusion supports passionate community leaders from diverse backgrounds to strengthen community connectedness and reduce social isolation. The program provides emerging and existing leaders with the skills, networks, knowledge and confidence to create lasting change in their local communities. In addition to developing strong personal leadership skills, the program supports leaders to develop innovative community projects which connect people who may be at risk of social isolation with their community in new and meaningful ways.
The Opening Doors Program is FREE to community members who live, work or play in the Outer-East of Melbourne.
Due to popular demand we are pleased to be expanding the Program to the Outer-East municipalities of Knox, Maroondah and Yarra Ranges. Please spread the good news and forward this e-mail on through your networks – we would love to hear from anyone who is interested in applying for our Program, which will commence in September 2019.
