Coco-date healthy bliss balls

After making these balls for a small event I had a request from a friend to share my recipe for my coco-date balls. So here it is. They've been very popular at work and with friends so I hope you enjoy.

Coco-date healhty bliss balls

1 CUP fresh medjool dates, de-pitted and finely chopped
½ C slivered almonds
½ C cashews, blended/finely chopped
1/3 C cacoa powder
1/3 C coconut oil, melted*
1/3 C shredded coconut
Pinch of salt

Blend all the ingredients, add more coconut oil if needed.
Roll into balls and coat in shredded coconut
Place in the fridge for 2 hours or more and then eat!
