How to adult workshop with Amy Stanton

To celebrate the Belgrave Community Hub Open Day on Sunday 14th April, Inspiro and Yarra Ranges Council will be running some fun and exciting activities for the whole family from 11am - 2pm. Activities include face painting, drumming circles, apple coring, site tours, food trucks and sushi making for kids.

In this interactive, FREE How To Adult workshop, at 11.30am – 11.50pm, adults, young adults and teenagers will get tips from local Yarra Ranges speaker Aimee Stanton on the life skills they need to know to be successful at life.

Aimee shows teens, young adults and even adults that they don’t always have to take the traditional pathway, and she encourages them to take a step out of their comfort zone to achieve the extraordinary. Her unconventional path to success and happiness is living proof. Aimee is a plumber, a reality TV star (Australian Survivor), an ambassador for TAFE Victoria, a guest co-host for Channel 10’s ‘Studio 10’, and a well-known advocate for females in the construction industry. She is also a born adventurer.

Places are limited so get in early to secure your spot!

Aimee runs workshops that teach students and young adults the life skills they need to know to transition into adulthood. Some if these life skills they may not be taught anywhere else.

As a young adult, Aimee is able to relate & communicate with teenagers encouraging them to engage with her workshops & most importantly, take action!

MORE ABOUT AIMEE STANTON

Aimee specializes in showing teens and young adults that they don't always have to take the traditional pathway & to encourage them to take a step out of their comfort zone to achieve the extraordinary. Growing up, Aimee was a troubled & depressed young girl with no dreams or aspirations who got expelled from her high school. She is now a driven young individual who went on to achieve more than she could ever imagine.

After school, Aimee started training to become a beautician before she realised a qualification in plumbing was far more aligned to her skill set and personality. She believes that growth occurs personally and professionally when you are willing to step beyond your comfort zone. In 2017 she challenged herself by walking solo from Melbourne to Canberra.
