FREE peer support program for young people who have a family member with a mental illness

Did you know that Inspiro offers a FREE peer support program called Space4Us, for young people age 13–16 years who have a family member with a mental illness?

Participants meet with other young people in similar situations to share experiences and learn new ways of looking after themselves:

  • Understand mental illness
  • Deal with stigma
  • Build self care and support strategies, and
  • Improve relationships

The next program will be running over the school holidays on the 17th, 18th, 21st and 22nd of January 2019, between 10am - 2.30pm, at Inspiro Lilydale.

Space4Us is part of Inspiro's free youth counselling services, which is funded by Yarra Ranges Council. Inspiro provide a free youth counselling service for people aged 12 to 25 years who are either living, working or studying in the Yarra Ranges. Students do not need a mental health plan to see a counsellor. Our counsellors can support you from our clinics in Lilydale, Healesville, Belgrave, or at other locations by arrangement.

For more information or to make a referral, please contact our Youth counsellors Hayley, Vanessa or Sabatinie at Inspiro on 9738 8801.
