Inspiro is a not-for-profit community health service. We provide dental and allied health services for the Yarra Ranges community from our Lilydale, Healesville and Belgrave clinics and various community venues.

We are a friendly and client-centred organisation committed to improving the health & well-being for people within our community. Allied health assistant

About the role

Join our passionate & skilled team on a 12 month fixed term, part time contract of 30.8 hours per week preferably across 5 days - (needs to include Tuesday, Wednesday). As an Allied Health Assistant you provide assistance to a variety of qualified Allied Health Professionals (AHP) in the delivery of individual, group and community based services. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide a range of individual and group services both land and water based, in line with best practice guidelines
  • Support patients through their treatment program, identifying any difficulties that the patient experiences in completing treatment and reporting to the AHP
  • Maintain equipment and ensure facilities are safely utilised
  • Review completed home modifications to ensure they are in accordance to Occupational Therapists’ recommendations.
  • Undertake home visits for trial of equipment, training in the use of equipment and provision of follow-up individual sessions.


This role requires:

  • Tertiary training in a recognised course e.g. Allied Health Assistant Certificate IV
  • Current Full Victorian Driver’s License and ability to drive a range of vehicles.
  • Current Working with Children’s Check valid for employment purposes.
  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in group work.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills

Occupational Therapist


About the role

Join our passionate & skilled team on a part-time (4 days per week) or full time basis.  

Our Occupational Therapist's work with clients with a range of physical, cognitive, social, emotional and mental health issues, to maximise their capacity to participate in a range of activities of daily living.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with clients to promote independence and enhanced quality of life
  • Deliver a high quality Occupational Therapy service centred around the clients
  • needs mostly in the client’s home or within the community
  • Undertake assessments, planning, delivery, evaluation and continuous
  • improvement related to the provision of OT services
  • Make applications to appropriate funding bodies

This role requires:

  • Degree or post-graduate diploma approved by OT Australia
  • Currency of registration with AHPRA as Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in working with a broad client base, with a range of functional impairments
  • Current Victorian Driver’s License and ability to drive a range of vehicles
  • Current Working with Children’s Check valid for employment purposes
  • Registration with the Statewide Equipment Program (SWEP), preferably as amber or red prescribe
  • Experience in working with the NDIS would be an advantage.

Senior Dental Assistant


About the role

Join our passionate & skilled team on either a part time (4 days a week) or full time ongoing basis. This position partners with Dental Clinical Manager to ensure smooth and efficient running of the dental program. 

It will involve leadership within the areas of:

  • Infection control
  • Maintenance of surgeries and equipment
  • Stock control
  • Auditing
  • Managing sterilization processes
  • Organizing the roster and being a clinical lead for the dental assistant team

Current qualifications or a desire to complete a certificate IV in Dental Assisting is required.
