Membership-led organisation
Inspiro is a membership-led organisation with a board of governance appointed by the members to set, monitor and review our strategic direction. The skills-based board is supported by our constitution and legislation.
The board directors’ roles are to:
- monitor key risk areas (e.g. finance and assets, clinical activities, quality standards and client satisfaction)
- be the link with the community
- set strategic direction to ensure that the needs of the community are met and that high quality services are provided within the limits of the resources available.
The board’s role is to govern Inspiro so that our organisation achieves its aims and objectives while acting ethically and prudently, and remaining within the law.
