Clinical Lead – Counselling Service

Clinical Lead – Counselling Service

Inspiro is a not-for-profit community health service in Melbourne’s outer east.  Our dynamic multi-disciplinary Primary Care team has a fixed-term one day a week part-time Clinical Lead - Counselling position available, until 30 June 2018, working at Lilydale.

This position is responsible for the development of Inspiro’s Counselling Service Clinical Governance Framework.  The role requires:
 

  • The provision of one-on-one Clinical Supervision to the team of Counselling staff (including Generalist Counselling staff, Drug and Alcohol Counsellors, Family Violence Counsellors and Youth & Family Counsellors).
  • Review of the current Clinical Auditing System and recommendations for improvement
  • The development and implementation of policy that meets the current standards including ensuring compliance with the Child Safe Standards
  • The development and implementation of a structure for clinical and peer review
 
To be successful in the role, you must have demonstrated experience in the supervising Counsellors in a range of roles as well as establish effective working relations with staff.  You will be tertiary qualified in social work or psychology. 
 
Salary will be negotiated depending on experience and qualification and may possibly be a contractual agreement.

Position description (Clinical Lead – Counselling Service)


Volunteer role (current student or graduate) - Marketing

Inspiro is a not-for-profit community health service in Melbourne’s outer east.  Our marketing and communications team has a part time role assisting the marketing and communications team, working at our Lilydale site.
To be successful in the role, experience with social media, a marketing degree or current study in a relevant university course would be helpful. This position could assist a university graduate with no experience to gain a full-time role or a current university student to gain relevant industry experience.

Alcohol and drug counsellor

 

Inspiro is a not-for-profit community health service in Melbourne’s outer east.  Our dynamic multi-disciplinary Primary Care team has a fixed-term full-time AOD counsellor position, until 30 June 2018, working across our sites at Lilydale, Healesville and Tecoma.

To be successful in the role, you must have extensive experience in the provision of counselling services with AOD clients with complex needs and a demonstrated understanding of the current Australian alcohol and drug treatment philosophy of harm minimisation.  Diploma of AOD preferred, but minimum requirement is Certificate IV in AOD working towards Diploma qualification

Reception / Administration Officer

Receptionist -  Full time position 
Inspiro is a not-for-profit, non-government community health service in Melbourne’s outer east. Our Administration team has a vacancy for a full-time fixed-term (until Aug 2018) receptionist with excellent communication and interpersonal skills including strong Customer Service skills.
 
The position will be based at either our Lilydale, Tecoma or Healesville sites.  The successful candidate must be available to work between the hours of 8.15am and 5.15pm Monday to Friday, as well as Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings on a rostered basis and must be able to work during school holidays. Reception experience is required.  Experience in a medical/dental reception role would be advantageous. Inspiro is a passionate community organisation committed to providing quality primary health and dental care services to the people of the Yarra Ranges.
